Prescribed estate agency agreements
The agreement between an agent and their client. Forms 3 and 4 are the ordinary ones; 7 and 8 are their exclusive versions.

Where this list came from, and when
Read from CEA's own listing on 2026-09-18. CEA's page is the source of truth: it can add a document or re-publish one at a new address, and a link here would go stale without anybody noticing. If one fails, take it from CEA's agreements and checklists page, which also carries the sale and purchase forms this page leaves out. A landlord or tenant rather than an agent may prefer CEA's page on renting.
What this is not
- Not ours. These are CEA's documents, under CEA's own names. RentOwl is not the Council for Estate Agencies, and nothing here is endorsed by it.
- Not copies. Every link points at CEA. We keep no version of any of them, so nothing here can quietly fall behind the published one.
- Not what RentOwl generates. A tenancy agreement RentOwl assembles comes from our own reviewed clause library, and the estate agency agreement it records is not the prescribed form. Where a rule applies, the agreement you sign is the one that governs.
